Diana Morlote is board certified in molecular genetic pathology and hematopathology. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), she completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology in the department of pathology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Florida International University (FIU) and her Doctor in Medicine degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at FIU. Her research interests include the molecular characterization of hematologic neoplasms and its diagnostic and prognostic implications.
